& Congratulations to all Players and Teams!

      Cricket Council USA has been working hard this past year to present you with another exciting US Open Cricket tournament. I am honored to be able to share this wonderful sport with all the players, sponsors and spectators this year as we host the fourth annual cricket tournament with over $100,000 in prizes and 41 teams. I am grateful for all the hard work and effort Cricket Council USA management and staff have put forth and the support of my family and friends.

          First, I would like to welcome all the players and teams who are participating in this year’s tournament. I would like to wish luck to all the teams and I am excited to watch the games and the progress of each team as one will emerge and become the champion of this tournament and become a part of U.S. Cricket history.

It is said that a trophy can only carry dust over the years, but the memories will last forever. Hopefully many of you will create lifetime memories, sit back and reminisce on moments that occur throughout this tournament and have a great time enjoying the sport the way I do with your friends and teammates. It is not always about winning, but actually having a great time and enjoying the sport.

Second, I would like to welcome and thank the sponsors for being here this year and for their contributions to this tournament. They are helping us bring awareness of cricket as well as recognition of the sport in the United States and each year our tournaments grow.

Finally, I want everyone to remember we all are winners. You are never a loser until you stop trying, so go out there, try your hardest and don’t give up!
