After a very successful opening on Presidents day of the Broward County MAQ T20 night cricket tournament, the regular weekly night cricket league will commence from this coming weekend, Feb 23, at the Central Broward Regional Park Cricket Stadium. The first night will feature 2 games between the following 4 teams:
Broward County Cricket Team (Team Owner – Mahammad Afzal Qureshi)
Florida Panthers Cricket Team (Team Owner – Rizwan Mohammed)
Florida Lions Cricket Team (Team Owner – Mohammed Markatia)
World Wide Cricket Academy (Team Owner – Ricky Toolsie)
Game 1: Broward County Cricket Team vs Florida Panther Cricket Team at 4.30pm
Game 2: Florida Lions Cricket Team vs World Wide Cricket Academy at 7.30pm
Additional team registrations will be completed before the next game on March 9. Team lists for the 4 teams will be published by end of day today.
The complete schedule for the tournament will be provided by March 5th.
Prize Formula
The first prize will be $5,000.00 and second prize will be $3,000.00. Third and fourth prizes will be $2500.00each.
