The second semifinal match of the USOPEN resumed after an interruption due to rain. Play began once the grounds-man Sam gave an all-clear signal to the Umpires. The match was between the US ALL STARS captained by Zishawn Qureshi, the youngest player in both the team and the tournament, and the Florida Panthers captained by Well Ken Singh. The Umpires were accompanied by CCUSA Officials & Tournament Officials – Mahammad Rizwan, Hafeezur Rahman and Shuja Khan, along with WinTV and other networks to cover the Toss event. Mr. Vinod of WinTV asked Zishawn which position the US ALL STARS would take after winning the coin toss, Zishawn had elected for his team to bat first.
