The semifinal between the NY Destroyers and Trinidad & Tobago CL was decided on the basis of DL Method as Florida’s unpredictable weather washed the game with torrential rain. Trindad & Tobago CL batted first and in 20 overs they scored 136 runs.

NY Destroyer had scored 43 in 10 overs when the first drops of rain began to fall. The Umpire halted the play due to the weather conditions. They resumed play after few minutes but rain continued to wash the field as the cover was not pulled over the pitch in time. The Umpire decided in favor of Trinidad & Tobago CL, and they won by 24 runs.
