C.C.U.S.A. Organization and Mission Statement
Cricket Council U.S.A. (C.C.U.S.A.) is a professional Cricket and
sports management organization, headquartered in Florida.
We are committed to promoting the game of Cricket at the
grass-root and professional levels in the United States of America.
The organization was formed in 2001 as one of several independent
efforts by different organizations to develop and promote Cricket
in the United States.
Our goal is to promote professional 20/20 Cricket at all levels
in the United States of America and develop professional leagues
with U.S. players who can successfully compete locally and
internationally.
The C.C.U.S.A. management team has years of experience running,
organizing and promoting Cricket in the U.S.A. One of our main
objectives is to create an attractive business environment for U.S.
and International companies to invest in the U.S. professional
Cricket market.
Our goal is to establish long and short term sponsorship
relationships with multi-national corporate entities to assure
the continued growth of this wonderful sport of Cricket beyond
the development stages.
C.C.U.S.A. also aims to develop a new generation of U.S.
Cricketers at the grass-root level through an intensive program
of coaching the fundamental skills of Cricket through our U.S.
Cricket Academy Summer Camps.
Our immediate vision is to see 20/20 Cricket compete with other
popular professional sports in the USA.
The Event
On the heels of the historic, significant and successful MAQ T20
International Cricket Tournament ’08 that was held over the
Memorial Day Weekend, Cricket Council USA is continuing its
efforts to promote exciting and fast paced 20/20 Cricket in
the United States.
The second Cricket Tournament that CCUSA will stage this year
is “The Freedom T20 Cricket Tournament ‘08”. CCUSA is teaming up
with the City of Lauderhill to bring musical entertainment as well
as an outstanding July 4th Fireworks display for South Florida
Cricket fans to enjoy.
The Freedom T20 Cricket Tournament will be played at the Cricket
Stadium located at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill,
Florida. The Tournament will feature outstanding Cricketers from
the United States. All-Star Teams from Connecticut, Washington
D.C./Virginia, Orlando and South Florida will be participating.
The Opportunity
There are several sponsorship opportunities for your organization
to gain access to this lucrative U.S. sports and entertainment market.
The target audience is highly affluent with tremendous purchasing power.
Companies can position their products as a premier national brand
through an association with one of the world’s most popular spectator sport.
