Sixteen high-powered cricket teams from across the USA, Canada and Caribbean will compete in the prestigious 2010 U.S. Cricket Open this winter in sunny South Florida. Like the inaugural Open last year, matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida, home of the only Cricket Stadium in North America. The Defending Champion Washington Tigers will return to defend their 2009 U.S. Cricket Open Championship. Top USA National players, such as Rashard Marshall, Most Valuable Player of the First U.S. Cricket Open Tournament, will be joined by Tim Allen, Steve Massiah, Captain of Team USA, Imran Awan, Carl Wright, Gowkaran Roopnraine, Steven Taylor and Usman Shuja, will all participate in the upcoming tournament. This year’s Champion will be rewarded with the U.S. Cricket Open Championship Trophy and a $25,000 prize check!
